Summary:

The Lighting Technician is responsible for installing and maintaining lighting systems for new and existing projects, supporting related electrical work. On-the-job training is provided; prior experience is beneficial but not required.

Key Responsibilities:

• Apply established standards and procedures for lighting installation, including ground fixtures, aerial lift operations, trenching, electrical measurements, transformer setup, control systems, troubleshooting, and maintenance.
• Maintain professional communication with clients, design consultants, general contractors, and client representatives, while respecting the established chain of command.
• Uphold company standards for appearance, conduct, and respect for property.
• Complete and submit all required documentation, such as digital timesheets and internal forms, promptly.
• Optimize billable hours and work efficiently to meet production goals within budgeted timeframes.
• Safeguard and maintain company-provided tools and vehicles.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, including ladder use, tree work, vehicle safety, electrical wiring, and heavy lifting. Ensure compliance with safety regulations and be prepared to manage incidents on site.

Additional Duties:

Support management and point person requests to achieve company objectives.

Reporting Structure:

Reports to the designated point person, owner, or operations directors, and coordinates with business and field operations directors.

Qualifications:

• Basic technical and mechanical skills.
• Willingness to work in all weather conditions with a positive attitude.
